Jeff Cumberland isn’t a star, but he may still earn an important role with the Chargers. After missing all of last season with a torn Achilles, the 30-year-old tight end re-signed with the team on a one-year deal. On Friday, he made a pair of big catches, juggling a long pass from Philip Rivers before finishing off a red-zone touchdown.
