Here’s how the 2018 Academy Awards nominations made Oscars history

The 2018 Academy Award nominations are finally here, with Guillermo Del Toro’s “The Shape of Water” leading the pack with 13 nominations. While that certainly may sound like a milestone, 13 nominations is nothing to scoff at, last year’s “La La Land” and 1997’s “Titanic” still hold the top honor with 14 nominations.
Though the nominations for “The Shape of Water” didn’t make history, there were other nominations that broke t
