“MetaMaus” by Art Spiegelman revisits his Pulitzer Prize-winning “Maus,” a graphic novel about the Holocaust serialized from 1980 to 1991 that represented Jews as mice and other Germans and Poles as cats and pigs, energizing the genre with postmodern techniques.
