Golden Rain Foundation hikes non-returned ID fees, commends lifeguard

LAGUNA WOODS — The Golden Rain Foundation on Tuesday, Aug. 7 unanimously approved a resolution that will boost the non-return fee for identification cards by $100.
ID cards are required to be returned when a resident terminates their lease or sells their unit.
Originally, the fee was $25.
According to a Village Management Services staff report, a monthly average of 60 residents fail to return their ID cards, which may continue to be used to gain access to facilities and clubhouses.
