Golden Rain Foundation hikes non-returned ID fee, talks Trust extension

The Golden Rain Foundation on Tuesday, July 3 approved a resolution to increase the non-return fee for identification cards by $100.
The current fee is $25 and will be $125 if the resolution satisfies a 30-day notification requirement.
“It’s a huge problem,” Director Judith Troutman said. “The $125 is an incentive for people to return their ID cards.”
A monthly average of about 60 residents fail to return their ID cards upon ending their lease or selling their unit,
