Get a $43 raise? That’s the average in Southern California
Southern California pay raises and job growth slightly exceeded the national pace in the third quarter, a new government report shows.
My trusty spreadsheet tells me that private and government employers in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties paid an average weekly wage of $1,157 — up 3.8% or $43 in a year, according to a quarterly study of employers’ unemployment insurance records.
