A toy company called Galoob once made a game called Mr. Gameshow. It featured a blue-eyed, slick-haired host, entirely plastic, with an oversized head and an arctic smile. As players pressed buttons to answer questions, Mr. Gameshow’s recorded voice would yell out the winners and losers with shouts of “Pick up your money!” or “AAH-eem sorry!” followed by a sarcastic insult.
