Gavin Lux will join the Dodgers soon, but his role is to be determined

SAN DIEGO — The Dodgers have ruled out one possibility for the near future of Gavin Lux, their star prospect who outgrew Triple-A from the moment he arrived in June: he won’t watch the Dodgers finish their season from home.
“I do think having him here in some capacity probably is a certainty,” Manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday. “We just haven’t decided to what extent.”
