Gas prices reach highs not seen since August 2015

LOS ANGELES — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $3.577, its highest amount since Aug. 29, 2015.
The average price has risen 31 of the past 32 days, increasing 15.5 cents, including two-tenths of a cent on both Wednesday and Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The average price rose 28 consecutive days, was unchanged Tuesday and resumed increasing Wednesday.
