Garage fire in Placentia causes $120,000 in damage

PLACENTIA — A woman sustained minor injuries after a garage fire at her home Monday night, Nov. 6, authorities said.
The woman, who is in her 50s and was not identified, returned to her home in the 1000 block of Driftwood Circle shortly before 7:30 p.m. and found her detached garage ablaze, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Larry Kurtz said.
When firefighters arrived, they spotted flames and heavy smoke coming from the garage. They used a metal-cutting saw to gain entry because the garage
