Garage fire at Buena Park home causes heavy damage, no injuries

No one was injured when a fire broke out and caused a heavy amount of damage to a garage at a Buena Park home Tuesday night, July 18.
Investigators were working Wednesday, July 19, to determine what started the fire in the 7400 block of Apache Drive, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Larry Kurtz.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze within about 15 minutes of the 11:48 p.m. call time and were able to keep it from spreading to the main part of the house.
