Galaxy’s Romain Alessandrini out several months after knee surgery

The Galaxy received news that no one with the team wanted to hear Friday.
Midfielder Romain Alessandrini will be sidelined until at least September after undergoing surgery for meniscus root repair in his left knee.
He suffered the injury in the Galaxy’s 2-1 win over the Houston Dynamo on April 19.
