Galaxy rookie Tomas Hilliard-Arce is patiently eager

As the second overall pick in the 2018 MLS Draft, Tomas Hilliard-Arce arrived with long list of accomplishments.
Hilliard-Arce won three NCAA National Championships at Stanford, was a finalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy as a senior and earned Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year honors as a junior and senior.
Despite all of that, Hilliard-Arce’s path to the starting lineup for the Galaxy’s backline has been slow.
