Galaxy midfielder Chris Pontius announces retirement

Galaxy midfielder Chris Pontius, who graduated from Servite High in 2005, announced Tuesday that he is retiring.
Pontius, 32, spent the last two years of his 11-year MLS career with the Galaxy. He also played with the Philadelphia Union and DC United.
