Fund for injured Costa Mesa firefighter nears $50,000

A GoFundMe campaign launched after a captain with Costa Mesa Fire & Rescue was struck by a vehicle while riding his bike has reached $48,440 in 19 hours.
As of shortly before noon on Sunday, Nov. 4, 417 people had contributed to the fund for Capt. Mike Kreza and his family.
