Fullerton Joint Union High School District will start using trained detection dogs randomly on campuses

Fullerton Joint Union High School District officials hope a plan to randomly use trained detection dogs will further deter students from bringing drugs, firearms or other contraband to its campuses and activities.
The district informed its parents and students of the policy in a letter released on Monday, Jan. 28. The school board unanimously approved the new effort on Jan. 8 and is expected to vote on a contract with Impact Canine Solutions in the next couple weeks.
