Frumpy Middle-aged Mom: Rolling on the river in Navajo Nation

So I’ve mostly been writing these adventures about our visits to foreign countries, but this one takes place in the good old USA, or in fact in the Navajo Nation, which is sort of a foreign country. At some time or another, every middle-class American family does the big Southwestern road trip around Arizona, New Mexico and such, seeing about 9 billion cactus, about that many petrified rocks and wigwams that sell rocks and fake Navajo rugs that were actually made in Mexico in Navajo design
