Freight train strikes and kills man in Placentia

PLACENTIA A 35-year-old man was struck and killed by a freight train early Friday, July 28, in Placentia, according to authorities.
Around 12:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Placentia and Fender avenues following a report of a pedestrian being hit by a train, Placentia police said in a statement.
