Free agent lefty Rich Hill had elbow surgery, out until midseason 2020

If the Dodgers are going to reunite with veteran left-hander Rich Hill in 2020, he won’t pitch for them until midseason.
Hill confirmed Monday that he underwent elbow surgery following the 2019 season. The procedure — known as “primary revision” — addresses re-injury to the ulnar collateral ligament for pitchers who previously underwent the Tommy John ligament-replacement surgery.
