Former UCLA All-American Don Johnson dies at 88

Former UCLA men’s basketball All-American Don Johnson passed away Wednesday morning. He was 88.
Before UCLA’s game against Colorado at Pauley Pavilion that night, the school held a moment of silence to honor the two-time letter winner who played under John Wooden.
After transferring from Fullerton Junior College, Johnson became a consensus All-American by his senior year in 1952. He also earned all-conference honors. He led the Bruins in rebounding during both of his varsity seasons,
