For people with disabilities, navigating Comic-Con 2018 can be a challenge

Sam de Leve has wheeled through Comic-Con International and smaller such conventions for a few years now, but the wheelchair user says the sheer number of people at the massive San Diego event make it the most challenging.
“This con, of all the cons, is a sea of butts, as far as I’m concerned,” said De Leve, who has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrom, a connective tissue disorder. De Leve identifies as gender non-binary, and so uses the plural pronouns of they or them when self-identifying.
