Foothill Ranch woman, 24, faces murder charge for 2016 traffic accident

A 24-year-old Foothill Ranch woman was arrested this week on a murder charge stemming from a 2016 collision, when she is accused of driving drunk and causing the accident that left a 40-year-old man dead.
At 2:15 a.m. on Oct. 1, 2016, Jacie Cornish was driving on eastbound Alton Parkway, between the 241 toll road and Town Centre Drive, in Lake Forest when her Hyundai rear-ended a Ford pickup, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.
