Following ACLU report on ‘inhumane’ Orange County jails, Sheriff Hutchens to hold press conference

The day after the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California issued a report about “inhumane” conditions in Orange County jails, county Sheriff Sandra Hutchens will hold a press conference to discuss those allegations.
The ACLU report stated that deputies often used excessive force against inmates, housed inmates in unsanitary conditions and denied inmates adequate health care. The report’s authors also called for Hutchens resign.
