First-term Anaheim councilman has two opponents for District 5 seat

In his reelection bid, longtime Anaheim resident and first-term District 5 Councilman Steve Faessel is up against homeless activist Kenneth Batiste and education graduate student Sabrina “Sav” Quezada, both of whom are running as City Hall outsiders who say they’ll provide a true community voice.
The district is home to the Platinum Triangle, which encompasses the Honda Center and Angel Stadium and is where most of Anaheim’s development is expected to occur in coming year
