First human case of West Nile virus reported in O.C.

An Anaheim woman in her 60s is the first Orange County resident to test positive for West Nile virus this season and remains hospitalized in serious condition, the county Health Care Agency said Wednesday. The unidentified woman was admitted to the hospital last month.
