Firefighters quickly get blaze at Pacific Hardwood in Orange under control

ORANGE – Firefighters quickly had a blaze, reported at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday at Pacific Hardwood, under control.
The fire, which sent out a thick cloud of smoke that could be seen for miles, was at the rear of the business.
It apparently started in the area of the hopper, a tall silo that stores wood material and collects dust as part of the manufacturing process, Orange fire Capt. Ian MacDonald said at the scene. The fire did not cause any structural damage.
