Firefighters knock down fire behind Anaheim recycling facility
A three-alarm fire at the back recycling facility in Anaheim threatened buildings but was contained and knocked down in an hour by firefighters, authorities said.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 1100 block of Lemon Street just past 8:30 a.m., said Tim Adams, field battalion chief with Anaheim Fire & Rescue.
They were met with an exterior fire behind the building. After handling the threat to nearby buildings, about 45-50 firefighters worked to put out the blaze, Adams said.
