Firefighters gain control of Skyline fire in Corona

Firefighters on Thursday evening, Aug. 13, said they had a brush fire well under control after it had threatened homes near Skyline Trail in Corona.
The Skyline fire was burning near Foothill Parkway and Skyline Drive on the edge of the Cleveland National Forest. About 25 acres had burned and the fire was 10% contained as of 7 p.m., Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said.
The 25 acres was the same figure reported at 6:15 p.m.
