Firefighters extinguish house fire, save dog in Placentia

PLACENTIA — Orange County firefighters made quick work of a house fire Friday, July 21, and rescued the residents’ dog.
The fire was reported at 1:10 p.m. in the 900 block of Vista Avenue, according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Alan Wilkes. The blaze was knocked down in 11 minutes, he said.
No one was injured and firefighters rescued a dog from the blaze, Wilkes said.
