Fire damages tractor-trailers in Santa Ana

SANTA ANA — At least two tractor-trailers were damaged in a fire Wednesday night, Feb. 7 at a construction site near a busy intersection, authorities said.
Around 8 p.m., firefighters responded to fire burning vegetation that extended into the site at 1st Street and Standard Avenue, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Larry Kurtz said.
The fire caused moderate damage to the tractor-trailers and also ignited a power pole along with several palm trees, Kurtz said.
