I’m so proud of my daughter, Sarah. Despite suffering health issues including celiac disease, she recently graduated from high school with honors. I was looking for a way to celebrate her victory over so many challenges when I came across the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad. It sounded perfect for a quick mother-daughter getaway and not too long a drive. It also was billed as “restorative,” and with our crazy schedules that sounded heavenly.
