Festive mood at Courtyard homeless shelter underscores efforts to develop trust

SANTA ANA Nakia McBath has spent more than half his life doing community work and trying to serve people in the city where he grew up. For the past few years, that has meant serving food and words of encouragement to homeless people in Santa Ana’s Civic Center.
