When Disneyland park opened in 1955, Walt Disney knew cast members were vital to its success. He also understood that someone hired to perform a certain role may have the dream, passion and aptitude to become something more. That’s the idea behind the Disneyland Resort Work-Study Trainee Program.
Launched by the Disneyland Resort Facilities and Operations Services’ team more than 10 years ago, the four-year program develops entry-level hourly cast members into skilled professionals.
