Event venue gets go-ahead from Costa Mesa council

On Tuesday, Jan. 2, the City Council upheld the Planning Commission’s approval of The Harper, an event and banquet venue slated for the city’s westside.
The venue will be in a 6,461-square-foot building at 1618 Ohms Way. The Harper will be part of Hospitality Collaborative, a catering and event enterprise.
Planning Commissioners approved the venue in November, but the project was appealed by Ryan Warren, CEO of Bright Guard LLC at 711 W. 17th St.
