Evacuations ordered for Woolsey fire burn area; Malibu schools closed

As Southern California braces for more wet weather, Los Angeles County officials have issued mandatory evacuation orders Tuesday for people living in areas in the Woolsey fire burn area and all Malibu public schools have closed due to the possibility of mud and debris flows.
The evacuation orders went into effect at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, according to a notice posted to the county’s website.
