Escencia School opens in Capo Unified district this year

Families got a sneak peek this week at Capistrano Unified School District’s newest campus, Escencia School, before all of the district’s more than 47,000 students are called back to campus on Tuesday, Aug. 21, for the new year.
Escencia is the district’s first new school in more than a decade. It will serve the Rancho Mission Viejo community – the first neighborhood school for the residents there.
