El Modena has everything working from the start against Woodbridge

IRVINE – El Modena used a 23-point second quarter to take control and went on to defeat Woodbridge, 35-13, in a nonleague football game at University High on Friday night.
In the Vanguards’ season opener, quarterback AJ Esperanza was clicking on all cylinders. He threw for three touchdowns and 136 yards.
