Editor’s Letter: Lessons in gifting from Project Hope Alliance

Our kids have rolling wish lists at online retailers and aren’t shy about letting us know what they want. Heaven forbid we should get them anything “cringy” or “whack” or whatever other annoying slang words tweens and teens are using at this moment to denote “undesirable.”
My husband and I use those lists as guideposts to indicate in which directions their rapidly shifting tastes are going. My stepdaughter seems to want everything on the racks at Brandy
