Ducks’ young defensemen have developed into formidable corps

ANAHEIM — The future of the Ducks’ defense corps became the present on a brisk March night in the Windy City.
The occasion was Marcus Pettersson making his NHL debut but Ducks coach Randy Carlyle also unveiled the bigger picture, officially moving Brandon Montour up into a top-four role with Cam Fowler as his full-time partner and put the reliable tandem of Hampus Lindholm and Josh Manson back together.
As the NHL trade deadline started to appear on the horizon and it was clearer tha
