Ducks want Daniel Sprong devoted to defense and offense

IRVINE — Daniel Sprong didn’t stay in San Diego for long. The Ducks reassigned him to their AHL team Friday afternoon, he played in the San Diego Gulls’ 3-2 loss to the Bakersfield Condors later that evening, and he was recalled to the NHL club in time for Saturday morning’s practice.
