Ducks trade Marcus Pettersson to Penguins for winger Daniel Sprong

The Ducks traded defenseman Marcus Pettersson to the Pittsburgh Penguins Monday in exchange for right wing Daniel Sprong.
Sprong, 21, was a second-round draft choice of the Penguins in 2015 who spent most of last season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pittsburgh’s American Hockey League affiliate. He  finished the season tied for fifth in the AHL with 65 points (32 goals, 33 assists) in 65 games. He’s had a limited role with the Penguins this season.
