Ducks sign Maxim Golod to 3-year entry-level contract

The Ducks signed left wing Maxim Golod to a three-year, $2.38-million entry-level contract Wednesday.
Golod was the leading scorer for the Erie (Pennsylvania) Otters of the junior-level Ontario Hockey League with 78 points in 63 games this past season.
Known as a standout playmaker, Golod had a team-leading 53 assists to go with 25 goals. He was teammates with defenseman Jamie Drysdale, the Ducks’ first-round draft pick, with the Otters for the past two seasons. Golod was undrafted in 2018
