Ducks select Jackson LaCombe in 2nd round of NHL draft

After selecting center Trevor Zegras and left wing Brayden Tracey with the ninth and 29th picks in the first round of the NHL draft Friday, the Ducks opted for defenseman Jackson LaCombe with their second-round pick Saturday at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia.
LaCombe is familiar with Southern California, having played with the Junior Kings program in El Segundo for a year. His family lived in Manhattan Beach when he was in seventh grade, when he said he “got to enjoy the warm
