Ducks’ Sam Steel driving force behind young second line

MONTREAL — Coach Dallas Eakins again slotted center Sam Steel between left wing Max Jones and right wing Ondrej Kase for the Ducks’ game Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens.
Why should Eakins break up that line now that they’ve been together for the past six weeks?
In the Ducks’ season-long search for consistency, Eakins has found some in a youthful second line. They have worked well together, seemingly improving with each passing game, a classic example of three diff
