Ducks’ punchless power play has been harmful instead of helpful this season

BOSTON — First, do no harm. It’s a sacred oath in the medical profession, something doctors learn in school and practice daily. It probably should be one for players on power-play units in the NHL, too, something drilled into their heads and hearts from a young age.
The Ducks have done plenty of harm while skating with the man-advantage this season. Mostly, it’s been self-inflicted, though, a cause for ongoing concern for the coaching staff and the players as the team
