Ducks preparing to play their ‘best lineup’ for now

ANAHEIM — There remain things for the Ducks to play for in their final two games of the regular season and there are ways to go about playing them.
A playoff spot has been locked up, but they’re not seeing Friday’s home finale against Dallas and Saturday’s season-ending game at Arizona as meaningless. The Ducks could finish with a wild-card spot, secure the third automatic berth in the Pacific Division or grab second place and home-ice advantage.
