Ducks acquire La Mirada native Chase De Leo in trade with Winnipeg

In a swap of Southern California natives, the Ducks acquired center Chase De Leo in a trade that sent winger Nic Kerdiles to the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday.
De Leo, 22, is a La Mirada native who made his NHL debut against the Ducks late in the 2015-16 season. De Leo played one other game for the Jets that year but otherwise spent the past three seasons with the AHL’s Manitoba Moose and totaled 45 goals and 62 assists in 211 games.
