Driver who veered off road in Santa Ana and crashed into tree identified

A man who was killed early Saturday, March 17, when his car veered off the roadway and struck a tree has been identified.
The driver was Giovanni Arreguin of Santa Ana, according to the Orange County Coroner’s office.
He was 18 years old.
Arreguin was heading eastbound on Santa Clara Avenue from Heliotrope Avenue when his car went off the road and struck a tree on the south side of the 600 block of W. Santa Clara Ave. at about 2:40 a.m., according to a news release from the Santa Ana
