Driver shot in face, then crashes into tree in Santa Ana

SANTA ANA — A man was shot in the face Friday morning, Jan. 19, as he drove his pickup truck east on Edinger Avenue – causing the man to crash into a tree.
The man was taken to the hospital, but is expected to survive, said Sgt. Jim Berwanger of the Santa Ana Police Department.Officers working shooting 1300 Block West Edinger.
