Driver killed in Santa Ana left-turn crash

SANTA ANA — A man died Saturday trying to make a left turn in a Santa Ana intersection when his car was struck by an SUV whose driver tried to avoid the crash, authorities said.
The fatal collision was reported at 9:58 a.m. at north Susan Street and Westminster Boulevard, Santa Ana police said.
